Business UIQ

Refund policy

When and how much Business UIQ refunds: before work starts, for unfinished work, government fees and how to request a refund.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy forms part of the Service agreement and sets out when and how LEX RESO LTD refunds payments for Business UIQ services.

1. If work has not started

If you cancel an order before we have started work, we refund the full amount paid.

Work is considered started once we have begun reviewing documents, preparing or submitting applications, paid a government fee or ordered a service from a third party.

2. Government fees

Government fees and payments to third parties (registries, authorities, registered agents) already paid on your behalf are non-refundable. If a fee has not yet been paid, it is refunded in full.

3. If work has started but is not finished

If you cancel an order while work is in progress, we refund the part relating to work not yet done. We deduct:

  • the cost of work already done, in proportion to the work completed;
  • government fees and payments to third parties already made.

We will send you the calculation in writing.

4. After the service is completed

Once a service has been completed (for example, the company has been formed, the EIN obtained or a report filed), it is non-refundable.

A refusal by a bank, payment system or government authority after we have properly prepared and submitted the documents is not grounds for a refund unless the order states otherwise.

5. Recurring services

For recurring services (registered agent, address, accounting), payments for a period that has already started are non-refundable. You can cancel future periods by notifying us before the new period begins.

6. If we fail to deliver through our own fault

If we cannot deliver a service through our own fault, or we decline an order, we refund the full fee for that service, together with any government fees not yet paid.

7. How to request a refund

Email your request to info@busuiq.com from the address you used when ordering. Please include:

  • your name and company name (if any);
  • the invoice number or payment date;
  • the reason for your request.

We will review your request and tell you our decision and the amount to be refunded.

8. Timeframe and method

We make refunds within 14 days of approving the refund, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

The time it takes for the money to reach you depends on your bank or payment system. Bank charges and exchange rate differences are not reimbursed unless the refund is due to our fault.

9. Your consumer rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
